GAVYN BAILEY

Gavyn Bailey is a seventeen year-old singer-songwriter from Orange County California known for his quirky, commercial style, and a deep, old soul mentality, with a writing maturity well beyond his years. From the early age of three, Gavin has been drawing from his own experiences, including a kidney transplant and post transplant effects, as a platform to inspire others through his thought provoking, deep lyrics. Throughout his childhood years he spent his time honing his craft, learning multiple instruments, performing in his cousin’s band, participating in school shows, and generating a fan base on Myspace, where his original songs received over ten thousand hits.

In 2013, Gavyn released his first EP, Sickly in Love, which hit #4 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. The same year he was nominated for an OC Music Award for Best Youth Artist as well as nominated for two awards at the LA Music Awards for Best Album and Male singer/songwriter of the Year. In November of 2013, Gavyn joined a Scandanavian tour with a popular Danish Band, Dune. Later in June of 2014, his song “All Growed Up” was placed in the Canadian MTV show, Degrassi.

That same year, Gavyn became actively involved in CHOC’s Mental Health Initiative as an ambassador and continues to help both children and adults with both physical and mental illnesses, and hopes to achieve this goal through music.

Gavin writes for him-self and other independent artists, and already has an arsenal of a wide array of songs. He is actively involved in working with young writers and artists, teaching them the craft of songwriting and mentoring them. He recently released “Fragile,” a single distributed by OC Hit Factory and Sony Music and is currently co-writing and working on an LP.
